National Mining Corporation is an Ethiopian company part of Midroc Investment Group, the country’s main business group active in numerous industrial and financial sectors. National Mining extracts materials from its quarries located in the Oromia and Benshangul- Gumuz regions and processes them in its factories located in Addis Ababa and Awash, in the Afar region.
For the construction of the new plant in Addis Ababa, the company carefully evaluated the various solutions and the choice fell on the machines produced by Gaspari Menotti, which guarantee reliability and quality at the highest levels.
The supply includes one multiwire machine model GMW 1200, which installs up to 40 wires to cut slabs with a minimum thickness of 20 mm using 7.3 mm diameter wire.
The GMW 1200 is a machine produced following Gaspari Menotti’s design standards, which allow the creation of the multiwire machine with the lowest management costs on the market.
To polish the slabs obtained, National Mining has chosen a high production capacity line composed of automatic loading and unloading trolleys, motorised roller conveyors and an automatic polishing machine model Mirror G 18 heads.
With this new plant Gaspari Menotti confirms and strengthens its presence in Central Africa and its leadership in a reference market such as Ethiopian.
